Dealing with Blogger’s Block

Last week was extremely stressful. Between hunting for a new host, planning a trip out of town, and dealing with another new issue on this site's backend I'm totally burned out.
I'm challenging myself to form sentences right now let alone come up with things to blog about. Thankfully I have a few stock topics saved and, while reviewing those, I had a shot of inspiration for this post. 4 Things you can do to fight blogger's block.
- Speedlinking: Not being able to write a post and not being able to read one are two different things. One go-to post that you can easily rely on revolves around quick links to daily topics that interest you. If you setup your del.icio.us account to post to your blog you can make this even easier - just bookmark a page and add some notes for an instant post.
- Post a Video: I know a lot of people hate this but occasionally I like to post a video of something that I find entertaining. If you're really stuck and can't come up with something to write you can easily share a favorite commercial, YouTube video or even movie trailer without too much fuss.
- Make a List: This can be a bit like speedlinking but because it doesn't rely on links it's worthy of a separate item. Lists of your best posts, favorite feeds or anything else that jumps to mind can be great content and be easy to write because you don't need to do too much planning - just select your items and give a quick description.
- Keep a List of 'Stock' Topics: Keep a list of topics (if not full posts) that you can use in the event that you're totally blocked. With saved posts and topics you can guarantee that your blog doesn't go unattended for too long. If you're taking a trip or vacation you can even set them up to post at a later time.
Any fellow bloggers care to share what they do to combat Blogger's block?

I most often get hit right after a trip or shortly after buying a new video game. I play the game during some of my free time and when I’m done I find myself more interested in going out and grabbing fresh air than writing something on the PC.
The toughest part is always getting over the hump. Once I’m past it, though, I usually find myself in a much more prolific mood.

I’m trying to add the PayPerPost disclosure badge into my post (like you have above), but I cannot figure out how to do that. Could you point me in the right direction?
I’ve written a review of this post.

Hi Matthew,
I’m currently at work but I’ll put together a post on how to do it tonight.
What I’ll do is take a peak at the your theme (cleaker 2.1 right?) and give you the specific code to add a button in a manner that’s similar to how it appears here. If you’d like a more specific appearance just let me know here and I’ll see what I can do.
I’ll have something posted by about 8pm tonight (eastern time.)

I usually get that block during weekends. Sometimes I talk to my 12 year old and see if I can grab ideas from him. I think the ones you listed are the best ways of dealing with the block.
