Are You Using digg Integrator?

Are you using the digg Integrator?

I admit, this is the first piece of software I've written. That said I'm working hard to support the plugin as best as I can. If you're using the digg Integrator and have any comments please submit them here. Good or bad I'd like to know what your experience so far is.

I'm very interested in keeping this plugin working well but need feedback from the community. If you're using the plugin please share your experiences.

Thanks,

wb

    Hi,

I’d liek to use your plug in but I can’t find any documentation on how to use it. I’ve uploaded it, installed it, written a post and selected teh digg category but then what? Nothing appears in my post. Do I have to insert some kind of html or php into the templates?

    paul,

This post has a rundown of implementation at the bottom. I’ll be sure to add more documentation tonight to the main download page.

Just installed the plugin but I am not sure where in put this in my template to show the “digg icons”. I dont understand exactly how to enter the:

    wjt_diCheck
    wjt_diggThisPost
    wjt_diJavaButton

Functions in my theme? Sorry Im a novice at the coding so this seems to be a more advance plugin possibly.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hello Andrew,

Putting the code in place is really up to you. I’d recommend going with wjt_diCheck only because it’s the most functional of the three - it’ll display a “digg this” style icon up until the post is dugg and then the javascript digg button after.

The first step is to decide where you want the button. You can see on my page here that it’s right before some of the post meta data. To get it positioned right you may need to tweak the css a bit. I know a few sites just leave the code in place at the end of a post for their desired effect though.

To insert the code properly just find where in the template you want it and add the appropriate function. Once you’re there type <?php wjt_diCheck() ?> and you should be set.
