SUPER Video Conversion for PSP

I've been working for sometime on finding a decent way to convert video for my PSP. While I have the PSP Media Manager, SONY software, I've found that it's a bit of a memory hog. Playing around with it I've also found that its a bit slow on video conversion, probably because it requires the PSP to be connected when converting.

So... what's another option?

While playing around with video conversion tools this weekend I stumbled across SUPER by eRightSoft. Don't let the webpage fool you, SUPER is incredible. From ASF to WMV, it converts anything to anything. You can even convert into or out of SWF (shockwave) making it possible to turn YouTube videos into PSP ready content.

It doesn't end there - you can even use it to convert video for your iPod.

I was amazed at how easy it was to use. The interface allows for drag & drop interaction and with a single click the program is off and running.

What's especially nice is that if you choose the default PSP conversion (rather than just telling it the file format) it creates a file structure for easy import onto your PSP whenever you want.

SUPER isn't just for PSP videos, as I said it can be used for iPod video as well. If you're looking for something solid to convert video I suggest starting with SUPER - you won't be dissapointed.

Great software based on the reviews - but no matter how we try - we cannot bring up a page that actually lets you down load it. Any clues on how to actually get the freeware downloaded?

It’s pretty hard to find right?

As I say in my post, one thing they won’t get a reward for is site design. You have to click on the “Download” link, then scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page. The first link under the adSense block links to ANOTHER download page.

At the bottom of that page are several mirrors for downloading the program. I believe you must have JavaScript running in order to get the proper download links.
