Making Digital Music Stores Better

Napster, my chosen digital music source, made a big step recently - they launched a music sharing service which allows users to share music suggestions with friends. Currently this can be done over IM, Email, and even blog - basically anywhere you can put some HTML or JavaScript code.

I'm not going to lie, I'm dissapointed they went with JavaScript over embedded flash (mostly because it isn't very WordPress post compatible). I do like the idea though, I like it a lot.

It got me thinking though, wouldn't it be nice to see a digital music store like iTunes or Napster starting an affiliate program like the ones run by Amazon, GoDaddy or Lik-Sang?
